Guest montysghost Posted August 4, 2010 Posted August 4, 2010 Hi AllFound this site a couple of days ago when searching for information on some coins my new partner has. Since researching these coins I have become more interested in the hobby and want to start collecting.I know this is mainly for British coins, but I think I am going to start with German coins as the bulk of the coins we have are German, with some Check,Polish, Russian and european. My current problem is this Bronze medal as in the scans below. It is dated 1881 and the wording translates to Country Trade Exhibition 1881, above the date 1881 is the medal makers name K. Schwenzer, who made many of these type of medals around this date. Although I have seen many photos of medals made by this maker and from other dates and exhibitions. I can find no info for this one. I was wondering if anyone would have any thoughts as to what the best way of researching this medal would be.Any Help would be greatThanks Quote
