Been searching for a while in the internet for the meaning of the word PUX,the one that is inscribe in a coin in the news.

Does anyone knows what is the meaning of PUX?

What is the etymology of PUX?

And what first coin bear the inscription PUX?

PUX could be french,latin,greek,old greek,pre-greek.

Seen some entry that there is a small muscle beneath the shoulder blade dont know if it is related to trapezus in entry in puxol.

seen also some entry that a shoulder muscle becoming a neck.

Or maybe PUX is a mint mark or mint like an entry or town PUX.

or a name of engraver.

That is definitely REX - the bottom right part of the R is 'floating free' and detached from the main letter. As for the E you can just make out the three serif ends, each forming a tiny triangle which all touch each other. It does look rather like PUX but it is REX.
