Is this Half Crown Real?

Hi all,

This half crown i have found seems a bit odd, particuarly around the 'coloured' areas around the lettering, do you recon this is a sign of it being fake?

No, I reckon it's just dirt in the legend. Quite heavy wear on the cheek and shoulder bit though (the name escapes me). I'd put it at AVF

Yes, as far as I can see it is real. Most silver coins of that aga do 'tone' or get dirty. I would grade it GF/AVF.
