Guest suzy Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Hi i wonder if anyone could help me,when my grandfather died, when clearing the house,in a garage we found a large amount of predecimal coins.I have been told i would be able to sell most of the silver coins at scrap value as the coins are in poor condition having been stored in metal boxes for many yearsAlso there was a chest full of bronze or brass 3 pennybits and another old pennys. Is there a market for them?Again i am looking at scap as they are mostly in poor condition. The silver ranges from 1900;1950. can anyone tell me where the best place i can get good value for it.Any help would be much appreciatedSue Quote
Chris Perkins Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Where are you and the coins Sue?I've personally bought van loads of scrap coins in the past. Both silver and copper/brass. Quote
