Guest Cjay Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 This coin was handed down to me through the ages. On the outside of the ring surrounding the coin it says " Treasure of the Association 1707" cannot find any related coins with this date. Can anyone help me? Quote
Chris Perkins Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 Looks like a William III sixpence (or shilling, depending on size...most probably a sixpence). The most common date is 1697. The coin is worn and mounted so it's just an old item of silver jewellery now, unless the coin is a much scarcer date/type. Quote
