Guest MrSnert Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 (edited) I found an Edward 1st Farthing whilst metal detecting in a garden. It's been examined by Spinks and they are not sure if it is from the Newcastle mint or the Bristol mint. I could be either of those. They have determined it to be extremely fine and it's currently up for auction at Warwick & Warwick on the 9th December 2009 if anyone is interested. If it is from the Newcastle mint there are only 12 others known and this would make the total known to 13. Edited November 4, 2009 by MrSnert Quote
