chris Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 hello fellow collecteesi have a question about hammered silver coinsi have a 1579 elizabeth I hammered sixpence and if i were to hold the obverse at 12 o clock like you should the reverse of the coin is at 9 o clock. i have had a word with my old man and he has an elizabethan sixpence but his is at 12 o clock both sideswere they hammered in any way possible in those days or is this a one offthanks peeps Quote
