Coin_Hunter Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Can you tell me more about this interesting medal with four generations of the Royal Family?I notice "copyright" under the bust of Queen Victoria ? Quote
Chris Perkins Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I've had a few of those, including one with full lustre, which I think I sold for around £25.00. They seem pretty common, were obviously not official, but a great idea and clearly sold well at the time. Quote
Coin_Hunter Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009 Thanks. Just love the copyright thingy. Do you know anything about the haberdashery token??? Quote
Chris Perkins Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I assume that was just commissioned by that firm as a giveaway advert. I suspect Berlin was just the name of the company/person and that it has nothing to do with Germany. I've not seen one, but that doesn't mean it's rare or valuable. Quote
Geoff T Posted April 27, 2009 Posted April 27, 2009 Can you tell me more about this interesting medal with four generations of the Royal Family?I notice "copyright" under the bust of Queen Victoria ?It's a very common unofficial medal by Grueber commemorating Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. The Three princes depicted eventually became Edward VII, George V and Edward VIII.G Quote
