Guest Gary Groom Posted February 20, 2009 Posted February 20, 2009 Hi guys looking for some help. A friend of mine was doing a house clearence and has stumbled across 2 coins 1 being a half sovereign, the other a full. These are a comerative medal struck in 9c gold in honour of the election of Britains first lady prime minister.1979. First of all how rare are these also a rough value in todays market. Many Thanks Quote
Chris Perkins Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 I shouldn't think there would be a huge collector following, so they are most likely to be worth the gold value. Or perhaps a bit more to a Tory Thatcher fan! Quote
