Hussulo Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Link to Wildwinds:http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/honorius/i.htmlIt looks very much like RIC 1206Honorius AV Solidus. Milan mint. Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right / Honorius standing right, holding standard and Victory on globe, captive at foot. RIC IX 35c. http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/honorius/RIC_1206.jpgbut I think its RIC 1206dHonorius AV Solidus. Mediolanum mint. Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right / Emperor standing right, holding standard and Victory on globe, captive at foot; M-D/COMOB.http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/honorius/RIC_1206d.5.jpgThe C of COMOB is further away from the OHus Quote

To be honest I don't know. I don't really collect ancients although I do have a couple of Byzantine Solidus coins. Maybe someone else will know more? Quote
