I agree! The first. Photographing coins is a difficult past-time. (Especially UNC or Proof!). If anyone has the definitive answer, please post it!!!

I also say that the first one is the best of the bunch.Actually,the first one looks as if it's in a far greater condition than the third.....quite an amazing difference.I've often struggled to get reasonable results,partly due to the fact that i've only got a cheap lower end camera.

I've found that if i move further back,and take some snaps,then zoom in via a paint program,i get far superior images than my previous efforts (not that i was all that close in the first place).

Not that the above will apply to yourself,since your no doubt using far better equipment than i possess,but may be useful to somebody else,hopefully.
