Guest Doverkev Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Hello,Could anybody tell me if this is a rare type Edward VI Norwich minted groat. Many thanks Quote
Geordie582 Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 (edited) I'd say it's Edward IV Light Coinage (1464-70) Spinks 2011, North1582. Classed Normal for rarety by North, rather rarer by Spinks. Quatrifoils by the neck and "N" on the breast identify it. The well worn ledgend makes exact attribution difficult, but I'd say it's probably with the Rose mint mark - but that's a guess Edited May 12, 2007 by Geordie582 Quote
