Geordie582 Posted February 24, 2007 Posted February 24, 2007 I am puzzled! I've just received a sales booklet from Westminster and find listed hammered, Celtic, Roman and early milled coins for sale. The pictures all show VF and better coins. Now! Just where are all these 'hoards' (for that is what they must be from - or fake!) have come from? To be a commercial venture they must have large stocks of all the examples, but, Boudicca units - Cnut pennies etc. The mind boggles! Quote
