Guest russell Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Hi, I have had a small collection of coins for a while and decided to find out how much they were all worth, when i brought the rotographic book a few months ago i only looked at a few but when i got to the 1912, 1918 and 1919 pennys which i have some of i didn't know what was the differance between the normal the H and the KN coins was, Please can someone shed some light on the situation, Thank you... Peter Posted September 3, 2006 Posted September 3, 2006 Hi RussellIn the exurgue (the date)If you have the rarer Heaton or Kings Norton you will see a small H or KN to the left of the date.As it happens these were saved /hoarded at Decimalisation in the early 70's and today are wildly available at below catalogue prices. The commoner issues in top quality are harder to find.
