Guest Sigy Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Hi there. Recently while looking for a screwdriver i found an old coin which i found at my last house. It had been stuck to a wooden beam with glue and when we moved house i took it with me but put it in a tin and forgot about it. I think it is genuine as i lived on an ancient roman road on the isle of wight called Rew Street. I can't make out much of the inscription but it has the head of a caesar and the inscription i think is about caesar julius germanicus? does anyone know about the value of roman coins? Quote
