Guest Eric Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Has anyone noticed a defect on the £2 coins (Brunel) for 2006? I have had two from the same source with the outer edge of the silver insert overlapping the word "Pounds" on the obverse. The overlap is quite pronounced and extends to the base of the P in pounds. Any comments? Quote
Guest Guest Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Sorry, that should have read, extends to the base of the loop of the P in pounds. Quote
Geordie582 Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Just checked my coins with no defect, but then they are proof. Perhaps it's only those in circulation. (you don't say which of the two types of Brunell £2's it is?) Quote
