Guest romancoin Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 Hi, Here is the other side of what I thought was Roman, but now believe to be french. If I have my Roman numerals correct it is from 1567, it's 25mm dia, .6mm thick & weighs 3 to 4 grams. Any info about this at all would be appreciated. Thanks,BenI can't seem to load the picture, I can email it to any interested parties.Thanks,Ben. Quote
Geordie582 Posted May 16, 2006 Posted May 16, 2006 To post pictures you have to use a host site such as Omnicoin or photobucket (there are many others out there, and I believe Chris is considering providing one on this site soon) You then use the web address to 'paste' the image here. Hope this helps.Sorry I can't help with identification - too modern for me!!! Quote

Guest romancoin Posted May 19, 2006 Posted May 19, 2006 You should also be able to post in the forum like you did before.Do you get an error message?Hi Chris, I dug the coin up in my garden in Wiltshire. I am not sure yet what I am going to do with it, my wife wants to keep it, she's sick that she didn't find it! (ebay of course is always an option). I will be pleased to consider seriously any offer you may make, if the coin is of interest to you. I never was able to load a picture of the second side, let me know an address if you would like me to email it to you.Regards,Ben. Quote
