Coin Holder Problem

Hi Guys,

I recently bought 25 Lighthouse '2x2 cardboard flips' for my sovereigns (not from PreDecimal of course).

I have recently noticed that some of them have started to peel back (they are self sealing) while in others the plastic window in which the sovereign is visable appears to be rippled.

Can i ask does this occur in all flips or have i got a dodgy batch?

I used to have the same problem with lighthouse 2x2's. I think they improved the glue so that they don't peel back, but I must admit the window material doesn't seem consistant lately and I too have seen inconsistent windows with ripples like you describe.

You must have some with the better adhesive, I think they've been like that for a while.

A lot of Lighthouse/SAFE things sourced in the UK are items from old stock because UK suppliers have to stock up with lots of stuff to save shipping costs. Then they sell it slowly and a lot of it gets old and dusty. My stuff is always fresh!

I decided to scrap the holders and go with capsules instead (which i have just ordered from your website)
