Hello everyone,

Well I often get positive remarks about this website and the way I conduct my business, and there is certainly a feel good factor when that happens.

Yesterday I received perhaps the ultimate feel good factor email! I was invited by John Pilgrim of BBC Three Counties Radio to do a monthly call in slot on the radio station about coins and coin collecting, and he asked me to call him as soon as I could to discuss it over the telephone.

I got the email quite late in the day, so called him the day after (Saturday 31st January). He explained he was the presenter, told me about the format etc, and that the studio is in Luton. I'm booked for February 27th, 3.30-4.00pm just for a general chat and a quick phone in. If it goes well and I'm happy to, it will be a monthly thing.

Apparently the Radio station can often be picked up in places as far south as London, north as Lincolnshire, west as Swindon and east as far as East Anglia. Alas I can't seem to find where it is broadcast on the internet, so assume it isn't! But I'll ask when there.

This is the Radio Station website:

I am of course excited, and naturally nervous too. I think the first thing I'll do is sort out that bloody 2p rumour and the £2 coin with the Queen wearing a necklace thing too....Should prevent at least 10 emails a month.

Also make sure you mention the fact that 1967 pennies are not R@re!

LOOKS LIKE COIN COLLECTING IS ON THE UP!

I mean if they asked you there must be a market for it, otherwise what'd be the point?

Looks like you're onto a winner here, and some advertising for yourself too!

Hope it all goes well!

Syl.
