krasnaya_vityaz Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 This seller has a few lots, mostly gold that I am perusing. Because of the volume of sovereigns I am looking to purchase, I would like to find a safe seller. Have any members dealt with this seller and can share their experiences? Quote
Chris Perkins Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Chard can be a little expensive, but they are well established and reliable as far as I've heard. Quote
krasnaya_vityaz Posted November 24, 2005 Author Posted November 24, 2005 Actually I am watching a large young head sovereign lot, the price seems to me to be okay, but I am concerned about the feedback, and having to have the coins shipped out of the UK. Quote
Chris Perkins Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 I sent a CCGB2005 to him to see if he might be able to sell some. Never got a reply, and I seem to remember asking more than once. I won't be doing the same with CCGB2006!And the recent negative feedback where the reply admitted they were out of stock and then goes on the insult the buyers spelling skills is very tit for tat isn't it. Quite immature I thought. Quote
Peter Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Appalling feedback considering a negative is hard to get !!!!!There is no shortage of gold/bullion dealers. Quote

Which is why I inquired. There are some large dealers on eBay that have less than stellar reputations in the numismatic community that have higher feedback than chardcoins. Quote
planz666 Posted December 8, 2005 Posted December 8, 2005 I bought a silver proof jubilee crown from them earlier this year which seemed good value at £10.50...It's the only experience I've had with them though,so I may just have been lucky. Quote
