Guest justin_I'm_a_Guest Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 hi all just wondering if what i found in my garden today is of any value i found a one shilling 1935 also 1975 penny cheers justin Quote
Peter Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Hi The 1935 shilling is 50% silver so has a bullion value of 20 to 30p.It would need to be in superb condition to really be worth anything. The 1775 penny doesn't exist. It is probably a 1/2d....28mmm dia ?The copper coins of this era were predominantly forgeries.....these are collectable in their own right.(Its probably a bit green ????It all depends on condition.
