Hello all,

I've recently been researching, and have found, some information, on brittish coins, I began the search, because seven years ago, when my grandfarther past on, in his will, he left me, a tub, which contains, hundreds of rare, and high valued coins,

right now, what i'm wanting to know, is the asking price for the Young Left Facing Queen Victoria [1862]

The tub, which contains the coins is also worth a little, [The Queens Silver Jubilee 1952 - 1972 ]

Once i have the information i need on this coin, i can then, see the pricing of both, the Left facing Queen Victoria [1862] and her son Edward VII [1904]

Thanks, :)

Can you post pictures?

If not you'll have to describe the design, there's no way we can tell what you've got unless you give us more info.

Is it silver, gold, bronze?

What size is it, does it say on it what it is (i.e One Shilling).

Otherwise it'd be like me walking into a car dealers saying i'd got a 1964 registered car with four wheels and a steering wheel.

Very rare halfpence dated 1862 are known with a die letter (A, B, or C) to the left of the lighthouse.
snipet from a useful site i found,
