Loose change Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) Appears to be an 'E' over 'N' in Regina. Having checked coin yearbook, there is no reference to this except for the 1844 half farthing. Has anyone come across any? Unfortunately, my camera is not capable of taking extreme close ups 😕 Edited March 5, 2020 by Loose change Quote
mrbadexample Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 Can you at least crop your images? I'm looking at 5% coin and 95% carpet and I can't make out any detail. 3 Quote

Rob Posted March 5, 2020 Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) That's normal. The E/N is quite obvious in hand. If it did exist for 1843, one could reasonably assume it likely to be the same obverse die carried over to the following year. E/N attached. Edited March 5, 2020 by Rob 2 Quote
