Appears to be an 'E' over 'N' in Regina. Having checked coin yearbook, there is no reference to this except for the 1844 half farthing. Has anyone come across any? Unfortunately, my camera is not capable of taking extreme close ups 😕

Can you at least crop your images? I'm looking at 5% coin and 95% carpet and I can't make out any detail. :(

Sorry about the crap photos. Am trying to get this done. App keeps crashing at the moment. Installing a another photo app.

That's normal. The E/N is quite obvious in hand. If it did exist for 1843, one could reasonably assume it likely to be the same obverse die carried over to the following year. E/N attached.
