jcressey570 Posted October 2, 2018 Posted October 2, 2018 Good Evening friends, First time on the forum, have been finding some very interesting reads, I generally show interest in coins due to taking up Metal Detecting (UK Based) I have struggled in my community forum as although well educated with coin ID'S they are ALL really struggling with this one. Now the information I have so far is that the coin is known as a Mule, Its also appears that there was a error in the striking and the wrong die may have been used. I have attached some pictures, if anyone can help ID even one side that would help in my investigations. Thanks for taking the time. Jason & Terry Quote
Rob Posted October 3, 2018 Posted October 3, 2018 (edited) No, it's a mule of a Henry VII type III halfpenny obverse (single arched crown) with a type II penny reverse. I conveyed the information last night. Edited October 3, 2018 by Rob 2 Quote
