i have a 1752/george 2nd, dark coin...the brittania side is more worn than the head ie brittanias stomach seems 2 be not there but everything else readable.

1866 half penny not as gud as above but can make out all.

1828 silver george 4th coin cant match it on the pictures...1 n 1/4 inch dia. on tails says "(clockwise8pm onwards) britanniarum rex fid:def:"...on heads "georgius iv dei gratia 1828" " us"in george and "atia" gratia quite worn but readable.

E ii R Coinage of great britain..half crown/florin/eng.shilling/scot.shilling/penny/sixpenc/3pence/halfpenny...all 1966 in presentation case...would say mint.

any ideas any one?

I take it you wanted to find out if the coins are going to make you rich!!!!!

Sorry but........

Without scans impossible to be accurate....but from your decscriptions I reckon the following.

1) 1752 sounds like a 1/2d in roughly F condition...catalogues £12/£20...ebay £5 to £15...not really sought after unless in excellent condition.

It also could well be a forgery (although collectable in their own right)

2) 1866 1/2d...sounds like a coin for the scrap tin (50P ?)

3)What you describe is a half crown..if fine £15 to £20 catalogue value...a rarer year...but not a sought after coin (unless approaching mint condition.)

4)1966 set.....very plentiful/common say £10 to buy.
