  1. Thanks, this helps! I'm still in the early stages of the learning process for the UK/GB issues, coming from a US paradigm. Hmmmm, farthings, eh? hmmm . . .
  2. OK, I've picked up a few decimal and pre-decimal pennies. I created a custom Dansco album (blank) for the decimal pennies. How are folks storing/displaying/keeping pre-decimal pennies? I could put together a blank Dansco album (using U.S. half dollar size) for these too. I'm currently just looking at circulated 20th century coins, so nothing (yet) needing a high-tech single-coin solution. I'll start with Ms. Vicky shortly {grin} Currently, I am keeping the pre-decimals and extra decimals in coin tubes--some in flips. Oh, and I'm looking at the other coppers, too. Suggestions for storing/displaying? I prefer not using Ziploc bags, shoeboxes, coffee cans, etc. I am an album person (but not the folders having exposed coins). I tend to be a hole-filler, and while the inventory program I use can tell me that I don't have a particular specimen, the empty spot in the album tells me the same thing, but louder.

  4. Hello all. I'm rather new around here. US-based with interest in coppers. I've come into a few dozen decimal and pre-decimal coppers and I'm scoping out whether I want to continue with them and come into a few dozen more {grin}. Don't mind me; I'm just looking around.
