  1. Thanks for your input, you know, now I know where to look, I cannot see with the naked eye the copy mark! I do of course see it on inspection of the digital photos I took. The large one however doesnt appear to have a copy mark but does have a word starting with BOP-? possibly? at 4 oclock. I suppose the coins are not worth much, but its food for thought for all you collectors, as I say unless seen with a VERY good magnifying glass or a blown up digital image you cant tell. thanks for your interest and time guys!
  2. Pictures of the coins now uploaded, I am looking for a value on these from you experts please and any interest as I am not a collector myself. 4. Hello, having recently emptied my fathers house after his death, I came across a small selection of old coins, there was the usual victorian penny, silver sixpence tec etc but also 2 large ones! After checking around on the internet, ive found them, 1 is a 'piece of eight' dated 1740 in good condition and the other is a gold Gondorian coin. These coins are of no interest to me as I do not collect myself so am asking you experts a realistic value and the best place to advertise/sell them. links to pics of each (not actual pics but these are the identical coins) http://www.jamesmerritt.net/demo31/display.php?cartid=201012178428332&zid=1&lid=1&psku=COIN_Gondor&mode=sp http://time-lines.co.uk/hollandia-piece-of-eight-shipwreck-coin-02-13464-0.html many thanks for any help you can give.
