  1. Hi all I just found this six pence coin, which looks cleaned but I took some pictures of the letter "R" in VICTORIA. Is it in your view some variety or rather not? Thanks.
  2. Hi friends, just wondering, if similar variety exists - maybe roman 1 over arabic 1, or arabic 1 over roman 1? Any help as I don't have books? thanks
  3. Ok, accept that it is normal for these coins and no such variety in books, Thanks!
  4. Hi All, just wondering if this coin is doubled/reengraved 8 and common and nothing interesting, if can anyone advise me? thanks
  5. Hello friends, can you help me to figure out which type of coin that is - I can not see where is LCW, perhaps because the coin with weak strike and symbols are under the shield? Tony Clayton says 1860 penny are "1A,1B,1C,1C*,2C*,2D,2*A,2*C*,3C*,4C*,5C*" What is this coin in your opinion? This is the link: http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/penny.html Thanks!
  6. I think it`s not over GVF in british standard, and there are some rim nicks and something on the hair probably difficult to clean. This is after gram oil: Thanks for the help!
  7. Help me please with approx. value of this coin because I have no idea from Freeman variety but one man from my city ask to buy this coin from me. The coin has some minor rim nicks on the rim. Thanks.
  8. Hello, I guess that this is "4 over 4" from http://aboutfarthings.co.uk but I'll wait to confirm Colin or someone else whether this is the same variety.
  9. Hi, this coin is from UK purchase, I think it`s 99.9% original coin weight 5.6 grams on my scales (but your opinion is final). I think it`s "Two leaf tips at top of wreath" - first bust, after examining the photos in one site. What do you think - it is original coin? And it is first bust? Thanks.
  10. Thanks for the help, listed for sale in the forum for £29 incuding registered postage. Good offer.
  11. Yes, I think CV is not real because 10 days still no offer for this lot, and for this reason I ask for grade and actual value.
  12. Thanks for the help, I have changed price to 21.50 without offer option. What do you think about grade for the next 5 farthings - all mostly VF/VF+ in UK standard or some EF maybe? Approx. value for all 5 coins in lot in your opinion?
  13. Thanks, listed for 25 BIN, I think start at 99p is not good option for seller with label "From Bulgaria", thanks for the help.
  14. Thanks for the fast responce! What do you think about grade in UK-standard and approx. value if I want to sell on british ebay with BIN price. The coin has some very minor rim nicks visible on pictures, and some spots on reverse:
  15. Hi, friends, What do you think - regular halfpenny 1853 with double die, or halfpenny 1853/2? Thanks.
  16. I think you are right, looks as leaves from reverse details in negative. So they maybe are thousands with similar efect. Thanks for the help!
  17. Hi, friends, please see this coin - I think there are some images, maybe struck over another coin? Looks wreath (leaves) and other details. Are this images common for this type coins? Thanks.
  18. Thanks for the help!
  19. Hi, I think this is an appropriate topic to ask: to which of six types of farthing 1862 in www.aboutfarthings.co.uk is this coin? Thanks... that looks like an overstrike as well, thin over fat 8 again. Thanks. Any idea about value in similar grade, 5-6 pounds maybe?
  20. Hi, I think this is an appropriate topic to ask: to which of six types of farthing 1862 in www.aboutfarthings.co.uk is this coin? Thanks...
