  1. Hi guys I know this is an old thread, but would like to continue it with what I believe is some new info, if its not for here then please move it to a more appropriate thread. I have 4 1951 crowns, 2 standard and 2 cameo, one of the standard and 2 of the cameos have type 2 I believe, but the other standard might be a new type 1, please correct me if I am wrong ,maybe I have it the wrong way round. The type 1 on my standard has features you don't get on the others. There is a double rein on the horses neck, the strata under the dragon has clear lines , more muscle definition on the horse and dragon, the horses tail is further from the teeth and more gaps at the end and more hair near the rump, the spear handle seems more fractured is this a new variant or not, please advise, I appreciate any insight.
  2. Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone had come across a bronze gothic coin the size of a halfpenny for the colonies, maybe a one quarter anna?! I came across this coin( in very poor condition)in a bulk buy, any information would be helpful as I only collect pre decimal UK coins, this has peaked my curiosity as I have never seen a gothic obverse on bronze, It is 2.5mm in diameter,1mm thick and weighs 6 grams, many thanks
  3. there was cupro nickel proofs in,1875, 1877, its such a shame the state of it and punched through, but what a find if it is, even in that state🤩
  4. Hi everyone , I am new to this forum, but have been collecting for about 4 years , mainly pennies, halfpennies and farthings ( I love Britannia). I have a 1902 HT penny with a dot between the N and E of one, now it did have a bit of verdigris around the dot, but I managed to clean it with acetone (it hadn't eaten through yet ), has anyone else found one similar to this? and yes the dot is above the field, I would appreciate any info on it, thank you in advance. Sorry didn't realize the files were that big
