  5. Could you guys take a careful look at this big 36g lump of bronze carefully please πŸ™ Totally flat back on it and all I can see is what seems to be a bull with rider facing right. Either that or the meds are too strong! Any info would be much appreciated, thanks in advance πŸ‘
  6. You were 100% correct Stu and thanks unwillingly numismatist for putting me on to Liz who verified it was a fantasy piece unfortunately πŸ˜• Thanks guys this is much appreciated because it's irked me for some time. Glad it was in a joblot of coins auction and as it hardly cost anything.
  7. Hi Stu The weight of it is 1.9 grams and is about 15mm wide bud
  8. Thanks bud. Thing is, even if it was a fantasy piece, why isn't there another one the same like? I went over it today with the metal detector and it came up silver signal.
  9. Thanks bud, my knowledge of them has been searching for this type for 2 years with absolutely no joy.
  10. Hi guys I have this Celtic looking coin which weighs 1.2 grams. I know absolutely nothing about them but I was told few years back it was a fake. It was purchased in a joblot of metal detecting finds, over 100 different coins that were all legitimate, this one was on the fringes of his photos and blurry, so he wasn't touting it for the auction. Just double checking, because if it is fake, someone has went to a lot of trouble surely to make just this one, as I cannot find another identical example online?? Thank you ☺️
  11. Hey thank you very much Stu, perfect match, really appreciate the info bud πŸ‘
  12. Hi Can anyone give me an ID on this silver denarius please. I know it's Trajan on one side but letters are worn on the other. Thank you ☺️ Weight 2.8 grams
  13. Thanks guys, your input is very much appreciated
  14. I found this farthing in amongst my coppers. I think it may be a forgery but cannot find any information on them. It weighs 6.03 grams and doesn't have a reeded edge.
  15. 1860 halfpenny with R/R and possibly E/I or P?
