Hi I have a golf half sovereign 1872. I can't see a letter to tell me where it's been minted. The coin only has two slight marks on it, other than that it's in excellent condition. Can anyone guide me in a direction, where to find out how much this coin is worth. Thanks

It will probably depend on how deep/serious the 2 marks are on it. Most of them are worth around the gold value. Perhaps you could attach or link to pictures of it.

I'm new to this so I'm not sure how to attach the photos. I have pictures of it on my phone. Do you have an email address I can send them to?

I also have a few other coins that I'm hoping to gain information on. I have a couple that are 1918. I have looked online and understand some are only worth the value of gold. But hoping to get more information on them.

The vast majority are just worth the gold value, especially 1870s and later. If you click on the more options below, there is a thing to allow you to attach pictures. It is a bit fiddly though! My email is cp@predecimal.com
