  2. Ah, I see you've deleted 'getting on with important things like genocide' and have replaced it with 'get on with the important things like supporting Ukraine'. The question remains: what does one have to do with the other?
  3. How can you conflate the two issues? Or do you mean you have information about a genocide Johnson and Sunak are planning which the rest of us are yet to be made aware of?

My dog has no nose. How does it smell? You know the rest.
  6. More neatly done though than the 1967 penny.
  7. That was my immediate thought too. The dark circle showing where the reverse of one coin has been sunk into the body of a second appears very obvious. The cut even clips through some of the beads.

Russians? We were in Liverpool last night for the Russian State Ballet's production of Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet. Fabulous, with Expressionism and Dada influences in evidence throughout, so I came away a very happy bunny (man) indeed.
  13. Any idea what this may be?

    Maundy Purse.

Has anyone here seen one of these? We were at a friend's house the other day and, knowing I'm into coins, he showed me this blue purse containing at full set of four 1901 maundy coins. It belonged to an aunt but no one knows how she came to own it/them. I've not seen a purse like this before but do know the coins would have originally been distributed in little drawstring bags.

    1594-96 Half Groat mm Woolpack.

Any thoughts regarding what appears to be a letter A in the reverse field here?

Thanks Stu. Yes, that certainly would be a possibility.
