Guest val (I'm a guest) Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 Hello again everyone, did I boob with my last posting on the enquiry re an Edward 1st long cross penny ? Everyone but me seemed to get some sort of response, have I offended anyone with my enquiry or is it so uninteresting that it does'nt warrant a response ? If the item is at all saleable I might consider this but as yet I have absolutely no idea, can anyone help ?Thanks to whoever reads this. Quote
Sylvester Posted November 20, 2003 Posted November 20, 2003 No Val no offence caused on my part. Only reason why i didn't respond is because i don't know alot about these coins. But the only way i could give any idea of price and value of it, is if you could post a picture of the coin, then i'll have a scan through my coin books and see what matches.Hope to be of helpSylvester. Guest val Posted November 22, 2003 Posted November 22, 2003 Thanks Sylvester, I was beginning to wonder if any one was out there. Thought maybe I had used some wrong coin jargon or something. I will be able to post a picture very soon as I have bought my husband a digital camera for Xmas ! It will have to wait till he has opened it of course...I have found a coin on a site on the net exactly like it and I reckon it is as I have stated in age, a wonderful old thing really.but as yet its value is unknown. Hope to scan picture soon,Thanks, Val. Quote
