Mr_Stephen Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 I haven't come across this mint before. Or, if I have, I'm confused by the amount of damage to the coin! Anyone...? Quote
HistoricCoinage Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 It's an Edward I London penny.CIVI TAS LON DON - starting at 3 O'clock with the orientation of your image. Hope this helps. Quote
Mr_Stephen Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 Thanks, chap. Is it possible to be more specific, or does the quality of the coin prohibit that? Quote

If you mean in terms of class, then yes, unfortunately the photograph does make things difficult. Quote
Mr_Stephen Posted March 8, 2013 Author Posted March 8, 2013 I was thinking of class, yes. But I see your point about the quality of both photo and coin. I'll try and engage some lighting sources next time! Quote
