Hello to All, here is my last metal detecting find from Poland, tell me if I'm wrong, is it Henry VII penny, Durham mint?. Cant find any example on the internet with the second letter "I" below the shield, first one is on 100% "D", but the second looks like "I" or "T". Thanks for any help.

Do you have any larger pictures of the reverse?

I'm sorry but no, I don't have any other pictures, unfortunately I cant even make any new, coin is now in local museum due to fact that English hammered coins are quite unusual finds in Poland they were very happy adding that one to the collection.

With the wear on that particular part of the coin it is hard to see the curvature to the right of what is perceived as an 'I'. I have attached photographs of a clearer example:

So it is likely meant to be T D of Henry VIII or DR by shield of Henry VII - but it certainly looks like DD.

Thank You very much for Your help HistoricCoinage, still have one question : If there is two "D", under which bishop this coin was minted?.
