Hi all,i have this commerative coin of Queen Charlotte who was married to King Charles III,it is of gold in colour,on one side is her face and on the reverse it tells of her D.O.B 19/5/1744. married 9/9/1761. and how she died at kew 17/11/1818. I would like to know if anyone has any knowledge of this coin ? and if its of any value,it is in outstanding condition. Thanks Chris

This sounds like a medallion, not a coin, commemorating the death of Queen Charlotte, wife of George III. Such medals are very common at this period and are usually of base metal, often pierced for wearing. A picture would clear the matter up. Value will depend on condition, but we're not really talking megabucks even for a top grade.
