ScotsConders Posted October 3, 2011 Posted October 3, 2011 Good morning , ive a few hammered coins ive always meant to identify here. I suspect it's Edward and an early Edward , but which one ? l, ll or lll is what i'm wondering. Quote
ScotsConders Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Next up is a similar looking coin but the difference is clear on the reverse. Quote
ScotsConders Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Similar to the first one , ive kept them in seperate posts to save any confusion as to what reverse goes with which obverse. Quote
ScotsConders Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Another similar , im pretty sure they are all Edward , just not the same Edward. Quote
ScotsConders Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 Heres another with the different obverse. Quote
ScotsConders Posted October 3, 2011 Author Posted October 3, 2011 If you've made it this far , thank you.I believe the above are all Edward but as said , which one ? This is clearly a different king , Henry i believe and i think Vl ? What i don't know is the denomination of these, one is bigger than the other but is this a result of clipping ? Quote
