Master Jmd Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 i have a jordainian one quish from 1997, on the reverse it says; The Hashemire Kingdom Of Jordan 1317 - 1997, the 3 in '1317' is backwards, and i was wondering if this is a commemorative piece or a normal jordainian one quish? Quote
Guest Kevin Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 Should be the normal one. The date on the left would be the SH(?) date written in Eastern Arabic numerals, while the date on the right (1997) is the AD date written in Western Arabic numerals. Quote

Guest tbirde56 Posted May 31, 2004 Posted May 31, 2004 The 'backwards 3' is an Arabic 4.Arabic and Japanese numerals translation. Quote
