I'm in the habit of checking the serial numbers on my banknotes now and currently these four have ended up in my change.

Was just wondering if they're worth keeping hold of for any future value, or worth just keeping in the collection as a future investment.

TL: JA13 534844. With rubbing serial numbers.

TR: HA39 481103. Special first run with a slightly rubbed serial number.

BL: AE70 386210. Early note with 'The Company' print.

BR: AB63 501859. As above.

BL and TR are in better condition and just have some creases. BR and TL are a little more worn.

Thanks in advance! =)

I'm not sure Mike, as I'm not an expert on notes. But for referece I did once have a Lowther £20 note, with the serial Number (I think HA85), but the numbers following were all sevens 777777. Spent it as I was short of dosh, but now wish I'd kept it. Was virtually new as well.
