Guest tommyjohn1 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Dear SirsSeveral years ago I was given two coins of very similar size and colour, both about the same circumference and diameter as a sixpenny piece, but a lot thinner.Coin No 1, On one side has around it's perimeter the words, Victoria Queen of Great Britain 1863 , with her head embossed in the centre, and on the other side it has, The Three Welsh Feathers embossed in the centre, with words around the perimeter, which I can only make out a few to say, The Prince of Wales, followed by some roman numerals.Coin No 2, On one side has around it's perimeter the words, Victoria Queen of Great Britain 1854, with her head embossed in the centre, and on the other side it has, around it's perimeter the words, Napoleon Emperor of France 1856, with his head embossed in the centre,Please could you offer any information on these as I know nothing about them.Yours sincerely, Mr.Paul Tudor. e-mail p.tudor1@ntlworld.com Quote
1949threepence Posted July 1, 2009 Posted July 1, 2009 I wish I could help you, Paul, but I've absolutely no idea. Would it be possible for you to upload an image of the "coins" ? Quote
