Chris Perkins Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 Assuming the coins are in the conditions they are normally found in, I'd offer:CHURCHILL CROWN (1965) X 30 = 40p ea, so £12.00SIX PENCE (1924) X 1 = 20pTHREE PENCE (1939, 1945, 1949, 1950, 1957, 1959) X 1 EACH + (1966) X 5 = 0p, not required and very low value.TEN SHILLING Guernsey (1966) x 2....unsual square = £1 each if as new.FARTHING George (1941) X 1 = 0p, not required and very low value.HALF CROWN (1883, 1901, 1920, 1921, 1922, 1927, 1928, 1935) X 1 = £12.00FLORIN (1921) X 4 = £3.60ONE PENNY (1897, 1900, 1901, 1903, 1913, 1918, 1919, 1922, 1934, 1940, 1946, 1961, 1965, 1966 (X5), 1967 (X2)) = just a few pence each, so will probably take up weight. ONE SHILLING (1924) = 45pHALF PENNY (1966) X 2000ish = £40.00 if all are as new.So total offer would be £70.25.This is based on the metal/face value assuming all are average circulated coins, apart from the 1966 halfpennies which should be as new. If they are not as new, I have no use for them. If you are somewhere in the SE I could pick them up.

Chris Perkins Posted February 7, 2009 Posted February 7, 2009 I have to sometimes go down to Eastbourne, but even that is too far for £70 worth of coin I'm afraid. Sorry. But my offer was something like what you should hopefully get for them (assuming all are average etc as mentioned).
