JJVH Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Have found my old coin collection in my Mums loft, after 14 years storage, I have got to wondering what to do with the coins. Most of the coins I have are worth little, but I still like looking at them. Since most of them are European from before the Euro, I was thinking of making a glass topped coffee table with the coins under the glass. Has anyone done this, if so any tips? Quote
josie Posted February 20, 2008 Posted February 20, 2008 Seen some on the net, others made toilet covering in plastic and the coins are inside.Problem is other may think you have many money. that was some feedback on the net. Quote
HistoricCoinage Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 Get a piece of plyboard or MDF and then superglue the coins onto the board, attach legs and then place a glass top on. Hey presto!Tempted to do the same here, got quite a few pre-Decimal and foreign coins which would be a nice touch. Might look a bit odd though! Clive. Quote
