josie Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 (edited) Their is a mode first in grams or g. then in ounce or oz. then ozt dont not what it meant but I weight the coins in oz not in ozt.If the coin is made of 2 or more metal using the second mode the oz, which will register the metal that is high in composition. For example if the coin is made of .75 silver the oz will appear in the scale will be the ounce content of silver in the scale or I should measure it in ozt,I did weight peace dollar and irish 20 shillings the oz is correct as listed in ref. books.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ounce#International_troy_ounceAny info. Chris Perkins Posted October 2, 2007 Posted October 2, 2007 Ozt will be ounces Troy, which is what is usually used for bullion and coins. Quote
josie Posted October 2, 2007 Author Posted October 2, 2007 Thank you Chris. The oz is just a convertion of grams to ounce. Quote
