Guest sly69 Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 I have 1981 royal wedding coins of Diana and Charles,i think they may be £5 coins, in display cases.I also have 1990,royal mint,UK proof coin collection in a red leather case. I also, for some reason a 1986 £2 coin. Any ideas? Sly69 Quote
Chris Perkins Posted September 3, 2007 Posted September 3, 2007 The 1981 Crown is a 5 shilling (25p) coin. In a case it's worth about £1. The 1990 proof set is worth around £10 assuming the coins have not toned at all. The 1986 £2 coin can be spent as £2 but will be worth £3 or even £4 if it's in absolutely perfect condition with no scratches or toning. Quote
