i have a Southern Rhodesia Half Crown dated 1951 and in EF condition.

on the obverce it says: Southern 1951 Rhodesia Half Crown

on the reverce it says: king George the sixth

...whats it worth? and how rare is it?

Never ask 'how rare is it?' that makes you sound bad, like all you care about is the value of it, when it's actually a very nice design on those.

Like with most coins, it isn't rare at all (2.6 Million made) and it lists for US$6.00 (about £3.50) in EF condition.

That is a Silver Jubilee Crown issued to commemorate Elizabeth's 25th anniversary as Queen.

Although it doesn't state a value on the coin it is actually a 25p coin and thus has a face value of 25p, if you're located in the UK you could technically spend it in a shop. But since most people have never seen one you might not get far. :D

I wonder if banks still exchange these?

(oh by the way it's Elizabeth on the horse ;) ).
