Guest Joe Posted February 16, 2004 Posted February 16, 2004 A friend has inherited a coin collection (around 200 individual coins + multiples of same coins) and wants to know how to get, first of all, a rough estimate of the value of his coins, then get them properly valued. Unfortunately he doesn't know where to start. He has recorded information on all the coins (face value, year, description etc.) but doesn't know how to find out their market value.... does anyone have any suggestions? He has a wide range of coins from various nations (e.g. 1890 $20 coin, 1887 gold sovereign, 1970 1 oz gold kruggerand etc.). Where should I/he go for more information? Thanks in advance. Quote
