Guest zane34 Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 I have a very small coin with albert edward from wales with alexandra twin head cameo from 1863,around the egde is written in commemeration of a silver wedding,cant seem to find out any thing about it apart from the fact that it may be very rare Quote
Geoff T Posted April 24, 2006 Posted April 24, 2006 This isn't a coin but a medal. It commemorates the wedding of the future Edward VII with Princess Alexandra of Denmark in 1863. There are a number of different medals struck in association with this event and none seems to be very rare. Does yours have a maker's name on it? Geoff Quote
