one pound coin

Hi guys,

was given a imperfect menai bridge (think thats how you spell it)pound coin,it has a raised metal where the one pound is,got a couple of pics,not that good,cannot zoom in enough and on the other side,below the Queens head its slightly less pressed if you get what i mean.Just want to know if this rare or were they produced in there millons.Cheers for any help.Sean

Sounds like a fake to me. There's alot of fake £1 coins around.
