i have this coin thats nigerian and i was wondering if anyone has any info on it.

its got 2 palm trees on it one bigger than the other. On the same side its say's 10 kobo.

on the other side it says federal republic of nigeria and the date(1973)

in the middle of the coin there is 2 horses standing on there back legs and there

front legs leaned on a kind of shield in the middle. the shield has got a kind of Y shape on it.

there is also a eaglelooking bird perched on top of the shield.

a kind of banner underneath it says unity and faith.

i will try to get a pic. feedback will be appreciated

You've got the basic information already, it is from Nigeria, it is a 10 kobo, and it is dated 1973.

From the "Krause" Standard Catalog of World Coins, it is KM#10.1, it has a mintage of 340,870,000, in VF (by US standards) it is worth about £0.30, in UNC (by US standards) it is worth about £2.00
