Guest Paul Carlile Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 I have a collection of proof sets from the Royal mint of all the coins in use from 1978 to 1996 (my birth year, to my 18th). The coins are all in their original cases and boxes and the cases themselves haven't been opened, and there is also a certificate of authenticity for each year.Does anyone know if there would be any value to this collection? I am moving to Australia soon, and although I would prefer to take the collection with me as it was a christening/18th birthday present from my godfather, but it is cumbersome in the box that it comes in.Any info would be greatCheers Quote
Chris Perkins Posted July 21, 2005 Posted July 21, 2005 I'd probably pay face value and a half for them, that's the deal I usually get from dealers and the same I offer the public. Quote
